🌱 What is Alfalfa

           Alfalfa is a part of the legume family, but it’s also considered to be an herb.  People use the leaves, sprouts, and seeds to make medicine. People also take alfalfa as a source of vitamins A, C, E, and K4; and minerals calcium, potassium, phosphorous, and iron. Alfalfa’s rich soluble fiber content may help reduce cholesterol and aid in weight loss by increasing satiety (a feeling of fullness). 

🌱 Benefits of Alfalfa :

Alfalfa has been shown to help lower cholesterol, and may also have benefits for blood sugar control and relieving symptoms of menopause. People also take it for its high content of antioxidants, vitamins C and K, copper, folate and magnesium. Alfalfa is also extremely low in calories.

🌱 How to use : The recommended serving of Alfalfa powder is 1 tsp one or two times a day, mix with water, fruit  juice or kefir water. You can also add Alfalfa powder in your daily Superfood Smoothie
