Our organic nettle powder is made from pure nettle leaves which have been dried gently at temperatures below 40°C to preserve the valuable nutrients. Nettle (Urtica dioica) has traditionally been used in food and as a dietary supplement for a long time. Use the nettle powder in smoothies, juices, yogurts, soups, porridge or when baking bread.
The plant’s tender shoots can be picked in the spring to be made into a nettle soup. The leaves have a cucumber and spinach flavour after being boiled and are rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, potassium, manganese and calcium.
