Psyllium Husk

Psyllium is a form of fiber made from the husks of the Plantago ovata plant’s seeds. Psyllium is a type of fiber that acts as a gentle, bulk forming laxative. It is a prebiotic — a substance needed for healthy colonies of probiotics to grow in the gut. They can absorb water and become a thick, viscous compound that resists digestion in the small intestine.

☯ How to use :
On an empty stomach, once or twice a day, mix quickly 2 tsp with 1/2 glass of water and drink it straight away.
Follow by drinking 2 large glasses of water and make sure that you get enough water throughout the day (2.5 – 3 L)

☯ Benefits :
Psyllium fiber is a non-digestible carbohydrate that can provide several health-related benefits.  Its resistance to digestion allows it to help regulate high cholesterol, triglycerides, and blood sugar levels. It can also aid weight management and relieve mild diarrhea as well as constipation.
